The Emirates Identity Authority has presented all its employees with copies of the "Flashes of Thought" book by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah save him.
The Emirates ID emphasized that its initiative was aimed at promoting the culture of creativity, instilling the concepts of excellence, crystallizing the spirit of leadership in them and enabling the Emirates ID's 900 male and female family members to benefit from Sheikh Mohammed's flashes of thought contained in this significant book.
H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, said the book is a beacon of thought and a fountain of knowledge in the field of leadership, and the Emirates ID tended to present its employees with the book as part of its ongoing quest to attain the highest degree of excellence towards achieving the aspirations of the prudent leadership for serving and promoting the UAE as per the UAE Vision 2021.
Al Khouri called on the Emirates ID male and female employees to be guided by the content of the book while performing their daily work as this would support their quest towards personal and corporate development and enable the Emirates ID to provide 7-star government services in accordance with the national standard specification for distinguished government service.
Presenting all Emirates ID employees with the Flashes of Thought book came as part of the keenness of the Emirates ID and its higher management on putting a smile on the faces of the Emirates ID's customers in line with the directives of the wise leadership of the UAE and its prudent government for working on developing government services to the satisfaction of the UAE citizens and residents, Al Khouri added.
Meanwhile, the Emirates ID employees said they were proud to possess the Flashes of Thought book and abide by its content due to the fact that it contained ambitious visions, prudent directives and wise guidelines in the field of upgrading government performance towards leadership, excellence and development, not to mention that it threw the light on the future government which HH Sheikh Mohammed aspired to.
The "Flashes of Thought" book records HH Sheikh Mohammed's panel discussion during the Government Summit held in last April. The book combines among others quick illuminations in a variety of topics in management, leadership and personal life in addition to HH Sheikh Mohammed's outlook on success and his vision of the reasons behind it.
and from my review it is more than a book to read it is away of living just like a leader in your way of thinking.
